Minutes

The Bancroft County Board of Supervisors met in regular session at 9:00 a.m. in the Supervisors' Room of the courthouse. Chair Ostergaard called the meeting to order.

Present: Supervisors Ostergaard, Whitmore, and Cabrera. Also present: County Auditor Gene Prewitt, recording.

Minutes of February 11 and claims of $71,204.63 were approved, 3–0 (Whitmore/Cabrera).

The Board held a second reading of the wind energy ordinance with the setback amendments discussed February 11. Motion by Cabrera, seconded by Whitmore, to approve the second reading. Carried 3–0. A third reading and final action is scheduled for March 4.

Motion by Whitmore, seconded by Cabrera, to approve the county's FY2026 contribution to the regional Mental Health and Disability Services (MHDS) region per the regional funding formula. Carried 3–0.

Motion by Cabrera, seconded by Whitmore, to reappoint Priya Mehta to the Public Health Board of Trustees for a three-year term. Carried 3–0.

No public comment.

Motion by Whitmore, seconded by Cabrera, to adjourn. Motion carried 3–0. Meeting adjourned at 10:47 a.m..
